The ever-popular Victoria Plum Tree produces bright red dessert plums from August to early September. It’s a self-fertile variety and extremely productive and available on both St Julien A and VVA-1 rootstock for any sized garden.

For medium sized blue-purple fruits the Czar Plum variety is the perfect option. It produces unusually large blossom in early spring and a reliable crop of fruits from late July. A sweet tasting, yellow flesh plum to eat fresh from the tree.

If you have limited space, our range pf dwarf plum trees for sale may be better suited to your garden. The VVA-1 rootstock allows them to grow to 3m (10ft) so they’re perfect for the patio.

When Do Plum Trees Produce Plums?

Once planted and the tree has become established, a plum tree will produce plums that are ready to pick by August. As they are a favourite of birds and bees, many gardeners choose the harvest their plums as and when they are ripe which is usually late Summer.
