One of our most popular trees, the Crab Apple is the Original British Apple Tree. Whilst the fruit is rather sour when raw is perfect for making traditional jam and jelly.
The Crab Apple blooms whire flowers in late Spring and the fruit will be ready for picking in Autumn.
Crab Apple tree supplied is 20-60cm tall. (depending on season).
- The Crab Apple tree is native throughtout the British Isles, they can grow to a maximum of 30ft (9m) if not pruned.
- The Crab Apple tree is a small spreading tree often with a dense crown and large twisted branches.
- Delicate white flowers provide an autumn crop of Crab Apples and although the fruit is bitter it can be made into jelly, jam and wine.
- The Crab Apple tree can provide an excellent food source for birds.
- Somewhat suprisingly Crab Apple trees can take cutting back very well and is an interesting component that can be included in traditional hedgerows.

Delivery options
This product can be delivered by 1st Class Royal Mail postage (standard) or by next day courier service (premium). Deliveries are undertaken between Tuesday and Saturday each week. Saturday deliveries incur an extra surcharge.
