The Olive Tree is said to be a symbol of peace and this Olive Tree gift is the perfect gift to mark any special occasion. Our Standard Olive trees are looking exceptionally good at the moment and are covered in lots of tiny Olives!

There are many ancient myths and folklore tales linked with the Olive Tree. Thought to be one of the oldest trees in the world it is a strong feature in many religious and culture celebrations.
The oil is still used in many religious rites and can be found in store cupboards throughout the world. A staple of the Mediterranean diet, it enhances the flavour of food and is wonderful for cooking with as well as a perfect dressing for salad.

Olive Trees are evergreen and should be kept in a pot and outdoors.
Olives are very hardy although will need some protection from frost and very cold temperatures.
Olive tree leaves are waxy dark green on top with a slivery underside.
Olive Trees are native to the Mediterranean.
Olive Tree supplied is Approx 100cm/3.5ft tall and arrives in a pot.
Olive trees are an ideal tree for the patio or decking.

Placing an order with Tree2mydoor

Once you buy a tree2mydoor gift, you can include a greetings card along with your own personal message. You can select a target delivery date when you place an order. We will normally dispatch your order one day before your target delivery date. (Monday to Thursday). Orders over £50 qualify for free delivery.

Delivery options

This product can be delivered by 1st Class Royal Mail postage (standard) or by next day courier service (premium). Deliveries are undertaken between Tuesday and Saturday each week. Saturday deliveries incur an extra surcharge.
