The Wild Pear tree is featured in many folklore tales particularly those involving love and temptation. The Wild Pear is listed in the Language of the Flowers and is thought to represent lasting friendship, comfort and affection.
Wild Pear trees are small shrubby trees which produce delicate white flowers during April and May. Small Wild Pears ripen in November and although not very palatable are often used to make Perry or Pear Cider.
The Wild Pear tree is very hardy and will grow in little or no shade and is also tolerant of pollution. Perfect gift idea for the garden.
Wild Pear Tree supplied is 30-60cm tall.

Wild Pear trees are small shrubby trees that can grow up to 4.5 meters (15ft).
The smooth bark of the Wild Pear tree is a grey-brown colour and its wood is often used to make musical instruments.
Wild Pear trees are tolerant of atmospheric pollution.
Small white flowers appear in April with the fruit ripening in the autumn.
The small round leaves of the Wild Pear tree have a pointed tip and are silvery green underneath.

Once you buy a tree2mydoor gift, you can include a greetings card along with your own personal message. You can select a target delivery date when you place an order. We will normally dispatch your order one day before your target delivery date. (Monday to Thursday). Orders over £50 qualify for free delivery.

Delivery options

This product can be delivered by 1st Class Royal Mail postage (standard) or by next day courier service (premium). Deliveries are undertaken between Tuesday and Saturday each week. Saturday deliveries incur an extra surcharge.
