'Zoo' birthday gifts for pop star - 27/10/09

American singer Katy Perry's birthday gifts included a "zoo" experience from boyfriend Russel Brand.

Comedian Russel had animatronic animals brought to her home from The Grove shopping centre in Los Angeles, to celebrate her 25th birthday.

He also asked guests to wear white to the Charlie And The Chocolate Factory-themed party at the Beach On Sunset in Los Angeles, according to People.com.

Guests at the singer's 25th birthday bash - complete with a set of Oompa-Loompas - were to decorate their white attire with finger paint, the magazine reported.

The star turnout included country musician Taylor Swift, P Diddy and blogger Perez Hilton.
