Wedding gifts for Sophie Winkleman - 14/09/09

Wedding gifts were on their way to actress Sophie Winkleman as she tied the knot with Lord Freddie Windsor, son of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

Ms Winkleman, who was emotional during the hour-long service, said: "I wept throughout the whole thing."

The ceremony, which took place in the Chapel Royal at Hampton Court, Surrey, was witnessed by about 400 guests, including the bride's half-sister Claudia Winkleman, Royal Family members Princess Eugenie, the Duke and Duchess of Kent, Lady Annabel Goldsmith.

Among celebrities from the film and television world, actress Jane Asher, Lady Helen Taylor, singer Bryan Adams, were in attendance.

Although senior members from the Royal Family including The Queen, the Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, and Princes William and Harry, did not attend, the latter four sent a joint present to the happy couple. The Duchess of Cornwall's daughter Laura was there with friends.

Some of the others present at the wedding included interior designer Nicky Haslam, writer Julian Fellowes, Evening Standard editor Geordie Greig and heiress Sabrina Guinness.
