Terry and wife 'to renew vows' - 16/02/10

Former England football captain John Terry and his wife Toni Poole are reportedly set to say "I Do" again this summer.

Terry apparently got down on one knee while they were on holiday in Dubai and his wife agreed to renew their vows later this year, according to the Daily Star.

Poole reportedly told journalists the couple were having the "best time ever" after they were spotted at a water park.

She told them: "I knew that John was planning something special and this has been the best", according to the newspaper.

However, one onlooker said Poole was keeping a close eye on Terry despite the pair looking like a couple on their honeymoon rather than one trying to deal with the aftermath of an affair, it was reported.

The onlooker added: "When Terry nipped off round a corner to use his mobile phone, his wife's eyes never left him. When he didn't come straight back she got up and went over to him, obviously to find out who he was talking to. Clearly he still has some work to do to rebuild the trust."

The news comes after the former England captain was sacked following reports that he cheated on his wife with model Vanessa Perroncel.
