Special wedding gifts for Rod's ex - 13/05/09

Rod Stewart's former wife Rachel Hunter has revealed that she will be getting married to her fiance Jarret Stoll in California this summer.

While the details of the ceremony are still in the planning stage, the couple can expect to receive a substantial haul of special gifts to mark the occasion.

Rachel, 39, and Jarret, a 37-year-old American ice hockey star, were engaged last August and will be getting married almost exactly a year later.

The wedding venue was originally supposed to be in Mexico, but Rachel has now confirmed to People magazine that she has since changed her mind - seven times - and has now settled on northern California.

Commenting on her planning skills, she told the glossy: "I am terrible. I need to be given less time than a year to plan because I change my mind so often.

"It was going to be in Mexico, but we decided otherwise. I've made seven changes to the location."

With Rachel's pedigree as a model and actress, and Jarret's sporting connections, the competition will now be on among the wedding guests to see who can come up with the most unique gift with which to celebrate their special day.
