Rocking anniversary gifts for Kravitz - 25/06/09

US singer Lenny Kravitz is celebrating 20 years in the music business with special anniversary gifts.

As well as marking the occasion with a red-iced cake in the shape of the number 20, the rocker launched the start of his Let Love Rule Tour, which is taken from the name of his first album which debuted 20-years ago.

Lenny, famous for hits like Are You Gonna Go My Way and Mama Said, was presented with birthday gifts at London's Cadogan Hotel and took part in a photo call.

Despite being in the game for so long, the singer, songwriter, producer and instrumentalist, now 45, is ready to embark on a European tour playing six dates across the UK up until July 1.

Playing up to his cool persona Lenny kept his sunglasses on as he spoke about his first steps into the music industry.

Speaking about Let Love Rule he said: "It was my first record. It started everything for me.

"It was just something that came out of me, before that I didn't know what I was going to do. So I was blessed to have this flash of creativity and here we are twenty years later. It's amazing".
