More wedding gifts for Mike Tyson - 11/06/09

Friends and family of former champion boxer Mike Tyson will be searching for new wedding gift ideas after he married for a third time.

Just two weeks after the tragic death of his four-year-old daughter Exodus, Mike walked down the aisle with bride Lakiha Spicer in a Las Vegas wedding chapel.

County marriage records show that the ex-heavyweight champion, 42, and Lakiha, 32, applied for a marriage licence just 30 minutes before the ceremony took place.

The chapel's owner, Shawn Absher, said the couple were married in a simple ceremony after they asked for "nothing special".

He said: "They just wanted to say the vows and be married. It was very sincere."

Mike, who last boxed competitively in 2005, was married to actress Robin Givens in 1988 for just one year. He later went on to wed Monica Turner in 1997, but the marriage ended five years later.

The boxer has had a turbulent life including reports of his threatening behaviour towards his former wife Robin, and most recently having to cope with the death of his and Lakiha`s daughter, who accidentally strangled herself on a cord dangling from a treadmill at their home in Phoenix, Arizona.
