Fourth baby gift for actor Jude Law - 30/07/09

Baby gifts are on their way to London-born actor Jude Law who is expecting his fourth child this autumn.

A spokeswoman said on the 36-year-old actor's behalf: "I can confirm that following a relationship last year, Jude Law has been advised by the birth mother that he is to be the father of a child due in the autumn of this year."

However, there is no word on the identity of the mother, who is now seven months` pregnant.

The spokeswoman added: "He is no longer in a relationship with her but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life.

"This is an entirely private matter and no further statements will be made."

The Daily Mirror reported that Jude met the mother-to-be while shooting for his new Sherlock Holmes movie in New York at Christmas.

The actor, who was married to Sadie Frost, 44, for seven years, has told her and his three children about the new baby.

The Oscar nominee separated from Sadie in 2003 and has since been linked with Sienna Miller and several other actresses and models.
