Fathers Day gift ideas aplenty - 11/06/09
The male grooming industry is one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK beauty industry - worth an estimated £1.4 billion a year - and it's predicted to be another bumper Fathers Day for the industry.
"Men are changing their attitude towards grooming," explained Barry Alford, co-founder of men's luxury skincare brand Alford & Hoff. "In the past, men have used the basic products to get a clean shave and maybe a moisturiser. But now it's like buying a new designer suit or the latest shoes - men are demanding more from their skincare."
So if you want to buy your Dad something to pamper himself here are a few ideas:
:: If your father is always on his computer buy him any 50ml Givenchy men's fragrance and you'll get a free laptop bag at The Perfume Shop.
:: Follow in Jude Law's footsteps and buy your Dad a present from Lush; the actor was recently spotted buying massage bars in London where he is currently playing Hamlet.
:: Finally, Gok Wan is on the hunt for men for his latest TV makeover show, so you could try to convince your Dad to take part. For the first time, Gok will be featuring guys in the new series of "How to Look Good Naked". Your Dad can sign up at the Channel 4 website.
:: And, of course, if your Dad isn't a fan of soaps or smellies, why not buy him a tree for Fathers Day?!
