Church priority over wedding gifts - 10/02/10

Celebrity couple Brian O'Driscoll and Amy Huberman are sure to receive some luxury wedding gifts when they tie the knot later this year, but it appears the pair may be eyeing a low-key ceremony.

The Irish rugby captain and actress are looking to hold their nuptials in the small village of Aughavas, Leitrim, a parish priest has revealed.

The couple, who have been together for three years, have chosen to hold their reception in Lough Rynn Castle hotel in six months time, but it seems they are a little more indecisive over the church location.

Father Sam Holmes said that the pair, who got engaged almost a year ago, may be considering four to five churches around the Mohill area.

St Joseph's Church in Aughavas is thought to be one of those on the list, causing a "buzz" among the village residents.
