Buffy star's first to get baby gifts - 23/09/09

Baby gifts have started arriving for the new-born daughter of Hollywood actors Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.

"The family is over the moon" at the arrival of Charlotte Grace Prinze, Sarah's publicist told US magazine People.

She is the couple's first child, and was born on September 19. Her famous parents worked together in the Scooby-Doo films, and first met in 1997 while filming I Know What You Did Last Summer.

They married in south-west Mexico in September 2002, but Sarah has only recently changed her name to Sarah Michelle Prinze. The 32-year-old established her career in television, playing spunky heroine Buffy Summers in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, before moving on to films such as The Return, Southland Tales, The Grudge, Cruel Intentions and Veronika Decides to Die.

Proud father Freddie, 33, started work as a teen heartthrob in films including She's All That, Down to You and Boys and Girls. His more recent films, such as Jack and Jill vs the World and New York City Serenade, cast him as a romantic lead.
