Birthday gifts for year-apart twins - 04/01/10

Identical twins Marcello and Stephano will get their birthday gifts a year apart.

The boys, although delivered minutes from each other,?arrived in separate decades at the Tampa General Hospital in Florida, US.

Margarita Velasco gave birth to Marcello by Caesarean section shortly before midnight, while Sephano was born just as the new year got under way.

The boys will be happy to be able to celebrate their birthdays individually and have a party all to themselves, according to their father Juan.

The babies are currently staying in intensive care after arriving 10 weeks prematurely. According to the doctors they are due to remain under hospital supervision for about eight weeks.
