Baby gifts times two for Jo Joyner - 14/07/09

Double trouble but plenty of baby gifts is the good news for EastEnders star Jo Joyner, who plays mother-of three Tanya Branning, long-suffering wife of serial philanderer Max.

She has announced that she is due to give birth to twins at the end of the year - which has put the soap`s scriptwriters in a bit of a spin as they struggle to rejig her plot line.

She and actor-husband Neil Madden, who have been married for two years, are said to be "absolutely delighted" at the prospect of becoming parents for the first time.

Producers are also expecting a flood of Christmas gifts as fans take advantage of the festive season to congratulate the happy couple.

A source told The Sun: "Everyone is thrilled for Jo. Because it's twins, she's already got a bit of a bump so viewers can expect lots of big bags and cushions in her scenes over the coming months."
