Baby gifts for Jennifer Hudson - 02/06/09

Dreamgirls star Jennifer Hudson is reportedly seven months pregnant with her first baby.

A baby shower attended by family and friends was held for the 27-year-old singer in her native Chicago with guests bring all manner of baby gifts, according to the Chicago Tribune.

But the baby gifts that Jennifer received were neither pink or blue but were "more yellow" because the singer doesn't know the sex of the baby yet, her long-time friend Felicia Fields told the newspaper. "They're really trying to keep it kind of quiet," Felicia said.

The Oscar winner is engaged to reality TV star David Otunga whom she met in 2008, but the couple have not set a date for the wedding.

Speculation about her pregnancy arose after the Grammy-winner was seen with what appeared to be a baby bump while on a US-wide tour with fellow singer Robin Thicke.

Prior to reports of the baby shower, her representatives had denied she was pregnant.
