Plant a Grove of Trees
Get the men of your wedding party up nice and early to plant 20 trees on land local to where you live (permission required).
Wedding tree planting advice
If you are planning to plant a native tree into the ground, it is important to consider if the tree will be safe and left to grow without damage for many years. Ask for permission from the place of worship or a local land owner to plant a tree - most land owners will be happy to grant permission.
If you do do not have a location to plant a native tree into the ground, you can consider planting it into a large pot where it can grow for up to or over 10 years. This is a popular option as many newlyweds move home a lot in the first 10 years!
