It is that time of year again when we launch our popular Valentines Day Poetry Competition. We have already seen a flood of entries come in and they are looking pretty good so far, for a chance of winning and getting your poem published on the Tree2mydoor website you best get those pens at the ready and get the sent in right away. This is our 7th lovey dovey year of poetry and the prize is still as amazing as ever.

The first runner up will receive £100 worth of Tree2mydoor gift vouchers to spend on our beautiful new website. The lucky winner will also have their poem published on our site for all to see! Remember as well if you are the lucky winner you will have your order refunded to you excluding Postage and Packing. Just imagine spending them vouchers on your very own Lemon Tree, Olive Tree or even Bay Tree? The possibilities are endless just like your imagination should be when writing those poems.

50 lucky runners up will have 50% refunded to them on completion of an order, which is our little way of saying thank you for taking part and well done!

If you’re brave enough remember this is a voting system, post them on our facebook and twitter pages with a hashtag @tree2mydoor #poetrycomp or post on our Facebook page to make sure everyone sees it. The more people who see it the more votes you will get! Its as simple as that! Sharing and Retweeting your entry will make the whole world see it, we are not saying making it go viral will make you win but it might help.

Our Valentines poetry competition attracted a large amount of entrants as usual this year. After one weeks worth of voting, the winner was announced via our Twitter and Facebook accounts – Kayleigh Sheppard.

This is Kayleigh’s winning Valentines poem:

Matthew you are my Valentine as you have been for 13 years,
To think how on earth we’ve managed it reduces me to tears,
I met you when I was 14, I thought I was a lucky girl,
Now i’m almost 27 and you still have me in a whirl.
We’ve done a lot together, been to paradise and back,
How on earth you’ve put up with my PMT, I take off my hat!
We have a baby daughter and another one on the way,
I know we’ll all be together forever and a day.

Christmas Message 2011

Apple Tree Giveaway Competition – Win a Tree

We are very excited to announce that with the arrival of October (and with it apple tree season), we will be giving away a spectacular Bramley Apple Tree in our Facebook competition.

It is very easy to enter, all you need to do to win an apple tree is to head on over to the Tree2mydoor Facebook page and ‘like’ us and then ‘share’ the competition with all of your Facebook friends. You will then be automatically entered into our apple tree competition .

Delicious Tree2mydoor Apples; great for cider making and using in apple pies.

If you win, it’s up to you what you do with your tree; you can either keep it for yourself or send it to, a loved one as a special gift… the choice is entirely up to you, just let us know by email and we can arrange it for you.

Bramley apple trees are superb for cooking with and they are also very good for cider making with. A delicious tasting apple and a traditional choice as well. Our Bramley Apple Trees are grown from dwarf rootstock, which means they won’t grow very large in your garden – perfect for saving space! They will grow to around 6ft in height, but they are also very heavy croppers so you will get a great harvest year upon year with one of our bramley trees. A perfect addition to the garden and a friend for many years to come!
